Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival

International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival (SANDLAND), which is among the world’s largest sand sculpture events, is celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2012.
This year 30 sculptors from 10 countries has been working on sculptors at Antalya’s Lara Beach.
Each year the festival highlights different themes and the theme for 2012 is Hollywood 2. More than 100 gigantic sand sculptures of Hollywoods stars and about 30 scenes from unforgettable films built by using 10000 tons of sand are on display. The festival will continue until October 29, 2012.
Furthermore festival area offers different open air activities such as open air bowling plathform, mini-children's playground, mini golf, giant chess board, ATV safaris, parasailing paramotor etc. for an unforgettable experience.
The festival area colored with special audiovisual shows at night time is open everyday (June 2- October 29) between 10:00 and 23:00.
