Department stores are fairly new in Turkey: Beğendik, Çarşı, Marks & Spencer, Mudo, Office1 Super Store, Tepe Home, Toys ‘R'us, YKM (Yeni Karamürsel Mağazası). Beymen and Vakko are two major big stores, in boutique style of Ankara.

Beğendik
Beğendik is located under the Kocatepe Mosque. It consists of supermarket, laundry,
a restaurant and departments for all your needs from textile to cosmetics and
kitchenware, except alcoholic drinks. The prices are mostly for middle class
but the selections are really good. Beğendik credit card provides installment
payments to its customers without interest. It has a charged covered car-parking

Beymen
True to their slogan, “You are to be perceptible by Beymen”, Beymen provides
its customers with stylish but wearable clothing, shoes, and accessories for
everyone in the family under their own exceptionally high quality locally manufactured

Dice Kayek, and Sonia Rykiel among others. Beymen also has a sleek yet comfy
range of home decor items as well. Beyond the quality of their goods, Beymen

also a brand of both casual and elegant clothing for children and the younger

Boyner
Boyner Holding, one of the leading holdings and the owner of Beymen, opened
Boyner (former Çarşı), which stands by its motto “Buy quality for less”
and to produce goods under the name Altimod as a sister
to Altınyıldız brand which is one of the most high quality names in textile
manufacturing . Boyner has since become a well-known department store with branches
in almost all shopping malls. In addition to clothing, has departments for sports,
kitchen, home decoration, glassware, fashionable bags and shoes, as well as
internationally known brands of cosmetics. You'll enjoy visiting the Boyner

Marks & Spencer
Marks & Spencer is a self-explanatory worldwide chain of stores; therefore
we are sure there is no need to say much about this specific shop.
Mudo
Mudo is one of Turkey's best fashion companies. Mudo goods are stylish, and
include a range of both professional and casual men and women's clothing, as
well as children's fashion and a selection of attractive rustic home decor.
Prices are reasonable. The latest opened Mudo Mega City in Migros Shopping Mall

Office 1 Superstore
An international chain of office products superstore with over 175 locations

Tepe Home
Tepe Home is the most famous and preferred department store in Ankara in which
you can meet all of your needs from furniture to home decorating goods, gifts

Toys”R”Us
An old worldwide toy “super market” with 1450 stores. The range of goods is
dedicated to kids and their needs. Most families spend their weekends wandering

Vakko
"Fashion is Vakko” has long been the motto of this ultra-chic Turkish style
house. Vakko's beginnings were modest. It began in 1934 when Mr. Vitali Hakko
started small millinery called “Şen Şapka” (Merry Hat). As the business expanded
the name was changed to Vakko and the company began to produce haute couture
scarves of Turkish silk, cotton and wool. When the first Vakko store was opened
at Beyoğlu, Istanbul in 1964, it was the biggest store that had ever been built
there to date and made Vakko the biggest brand-name phenomenon on Turkish clothing
scene.
Vakko has continued to develop its wares by creating a line of home decor, clothing
line for men, perfumes “V de Vakko” (for men), “Katia” (for women) and “Piu
Piu” (for children). The Vakko Company also opened “Vakkorama” stores that cater
to younger tastes and is home to Power FM, a radio station that focuses on international
pop music. One of the traditional gifts that Turks give to one another is a
box of chocolates or candies wrapped in style. If you want to impress someone,
choose from Vakko's wide assortment of chocolates, which always have that perfect
finishing touch-of-class which is the trademark of Vakko's packaging. The 6th
floor of Vakko (Atatürk Bulvarı) is for the outlet products of various price.

YKM (Yeni Karamürsel Mağazaları)
One of the oldest department stores in Ankara. Its principle is to meet the
needs of all the members of a family. With its own credit card YKM provides
installment payments to its customers without interest.
