International Eskişehir Street Festival
Organized mutually with Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, the 6th International Eskişehir Street Festival will take place on May 25-26, 2013. During the 2-day long festival, the streets will be colored with various activities including live performances on the Porsuk Brook, workshops, outdoor film screenings etc. For more information and detailed program please click.


IWAI's White Summer Evening in Izmir
White Summer Evening Charity Event of  International Women’s Association of Izmir will take place at Hilton Hotel (Alsancak) on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 19:30. All revenues of the event and the proceeds of the Silent Auction will go entirely to IWAIs Charity Project 2013, Hasta Cocuk Evleri Dernegi (Houses of Sick Children in Izmir).  Dress code WHITE theme, smart dress code (all guests are invited to wear an item of white in their outfits). As to the costs:
75 TL for IWAI members if purchased until 24.05.2013 (80 TL for non-members)
85 TL for IWAI members if purchased after 24.05.2013 (90 TL for non-members)

Lovers of Turkey
Ar Medya Production calls for expats to participate a TV program titled "Türkiye Sevdalıları – Lovers of Turkey" to be broadcast on TRT Avaz channel. Each 35-minute-long episode will host a different "Lover of Turkey". It is a guest-focused program and covers the guest’s Turkey adventure e.g. reasons for coming to Turkey, places and food he/she prefers, his/her approach in learning Turkish language. Self-confident, cheerful expats with at least speaking some Turkish are expected. The topics and issues to be covered during the program will be submitted to the guest in advance. Any expats willing to be part of this exciting program should contact Aybike Üregil (aybike-uregil(at)hotmail.com) with a photograph, information about his/her work, age, the place he/she lives and the reasons of his/her love for Turkey.
