Hezarfen Airport is located 20 km. west of Atatürk International Airport. The flying site is near to Büyükçekmece Lake. The site has also a normal runway 1850 ft long for full size motor aircrafts and the airport code is LTBW with the tower frequency of 118.25
Pilots with flight (clearance) permits, airport aviation traffic and notam office services, weather reports, communication, landing and parking, and information on facilities of other airports are among the services provided by Hezarfen Airport.
Top Air, also renting out airplanes and giving air taxi services, has established a flight school at Hezarfen Airport. Both Turkish and foreign trainees have received pilot licenses and many of the trainees that graduated as commercial pilots are now flying for other airlines.
