The festival will start on April 22, 2012 and 130 films will be featured until April 28.
İzmir, Karaca, and Bornova Batı Movie theaters together with DESEM and Izmir French Cultural Center are the venues of the festival.
All films shown in Izmir International Film Festival are free.
The festival will include international movies, fiction movies and documentary sections as well as exhibitions and workshops. Each movie will be shown five times during the festival.
İzmir Film Festival, which was held between 1989 and 2000, is starting again with the support of Dokuz Eylül University and İzmir Mucipality.
