Neighborhood Cook!
Merhaba, this is Zeyda, your friendly neighborhood cook!
Cooking has been a passion of mine for years – I guess it goes hand in hand with my joy of eating. I love to see the look of satisfaction on my guests' faces as they enjoy a meal that I have poured my heart and soul into. The female members of my family are great cooks and much of the conversation around our dinner table revolved around food, restaurants, recipes, and cuisine in general.
When we decided to add a recipe section to our website I gladly jumped at the opportunity to make some contributions and offer my advice. Well it is fun and easy to cook in my own kitchen but it is not that easy to give recipes to those who don't see my face and mimics. How can I give the measures I used to show using my hands: “This much butter”.
Of course, my expertise lies with Turkish Cuisine, and I would be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have related to cooking. Please feel free to call me at 0212 251 59 35. I speak fluent English, French, and Turkish, though for inquiries in German, it would be best if you sent an e-mail to zeyda@mymerhaba.com as some translation will be required.
Now, Kolay gelsin (May it come easy) to you all!!!
Happy cooking!
