Runfire Cappadocia

This new contest puts man against nature in a tough geography and climate and is a challenging 200km six-stage route in desert heat. Apart from the first and last night stays at hotels, everyone in Run Fire Cappadocia will be accommodated under the stars alone with the nature, at camps made of hair tents. Drinking water and hot water will be supplied to contestants during the contest at the camp areas. A medical and search & rescue team will accompany participants during the marathon.
The region is made up of lava formations from nearby Mount Erciyes (Argeaus) and is on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Visited by thousands of tourists every year due to its history and natural beauty, Cappadocia will take you to the land of fairies. Registrations starts for Runfire Cappadocia Ultra Marathon that will bring the desert heat to the mystical Cappadocia atmosphere and present varying natural conditions beyond estimations in one route for the runners to meet their limits.
Mysterious subterranean cities built thousands of years ago, a spectacular landscape, rock formations that bring history to life and a mystical atmosphere transform this marathon a new adventure at each kilometer throughout this enchanted land.
Runfire Cappadocia has been accredited to Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB), one of the preeminent mountain trails of the world. Thus, Runfire Cappadocia runners will qualify 4 points (top point) that will allow them to compete in the exclusive marathons all over the world. This year for the first time, the runners will compete for the right to win the access to the worldwide marathons.
