Influenza A(H1N1)Novel influenza A (H1N1) is a new flu virus of swine origin that was first detected in April, 2009.
The virus is infecting people and is spreading from person-to-person. According to World Health Organization, the swine flu is continuing its journey throughout the world, registering more than 1000 cases.
Its symptoms are similar to those of seasonal influenza: sudden fever, sneezing, breathing difficulties, and possibly diarrhea. It also spread in the same way as human flu, via coughing, sneezing or touching an infected surface such as a door-knob.
